The Tiger-Cats announced this morning that the team has inked Defensive Back Jykine Bradley to a contract extension.
Bradley is a good player who provides reasonable reliability in the Secondary. He's not an All Star, but he's solid.
The Secondary was one of the areas that needed addressing in the off-season, but Bradley wasn't one of the reasons. Then again, neither was Chris Thompson, but that didn't stop him from getting shipped out of town.
Locking up Bradley provides some continuity from last season to this season to next season. Coupling this with the signings of Will Poole and Jason Shivers and the emergence late last season of Dylan Barker, I think the Cats' DBs have the possibility to be among the best groups in the CFL in 2010.
